Restaurant BRUUT  – Brugge (Belgium)

It’s been a while since we haven’t been touched by the cuisine and the personality of a chef. The first bites of Bruno Timperman’s dishes were a hit. So sharp. So tasty. Bruno is the chef and co-owner (with his cousin Bas, managing the service) of restaurant Bruut in Brugge.

Nested in the historical centre of this lovely city, the restaurant is located in a typical and old house along a canal, offering one of the most beautiful spot an enthusiastic eater could dream of. Inside the restaurant, the 22 seats dining room is smart, elegant, modern, intimate and romantic by night with the candles light, but also combines rustique elements offering a true charming and relaxed atmosphere.

In the kitchen, self-taught 40 years old chef Bruno is delivering a single menu made of snacks and several dishes, pushing forward local and seasonal ingredients, pure flavors and clean tastes. Bruno wants to express through his cuisine his local terroir and the nature surrounding it, from the North sea to the forests and fields of his region. From this natural environment, he finds his inspiration to create dishes that will join a menu changing monthly (or when nature calls), for the biggest pleasure of his customers.
