Restaurant LES BACCHANALES * – Vence (France)

Officially restaurateur and chef, undeniably art lover, Christophe Dufau runs Les Bacchanales, a 1 Michelin star restaurant nested in a quiet spot on the hills of Vence. His kitchen opens onto a large garden and his creations are prototypes of artwork on a plate. Christophe has travelled the world, seen a lot of Malaysia, Italy or New York, but mostly spent 9 years in Denmark.. And since his return to his native region, the chef has been expressing his own and unique identity, focusing exclusively on local ingredients and promoting the treasures of the Mediterranean sea (without dispraising certain techniques he learned up North like smoking or pickling). Besides being extremely sensitive and creative, Christophe runs his kitchen on culinary energy, delivering unique creations as delicious as they are beautiful, playing with your senses and delighting your palate with a menu that follows  the seasons offering nothing but the best local and regional products. This native of Draguignan likes to state that there is no “real way” when it comes to cooking, at Les Bacchanales though he humbly and certainly has his own way.  We are pleased to welcome and act as ambassador for Christophe Dufau : a beautiful person, a great talent and a proud representative of the gorgeous Côte d’Azur.
