Michelin awarded chef Sasu Laukkonen talks about himself as a chef de cuisine “from the heart”. And after several meals and meetings with Sasu, we do confirm there is no better way to describe the personality and style of this self-taught chef. In 2010, he opened his own restaurant Chef & Sommelier in the heart of Helsinki, focusing on wild and organic ingredients with a special care on waste and sustainability.
Sasu’s cuisine is obviously natural and handmade with a clear ambition to deliver pure tastes and flavors using the best seasonal ingredients, some coming from his own garden. Finesse-dining is what he wants his customers to experience: personal, open and stylish cuisine in a delicate and relaxed but comfortable and intimate atmosphere. A cuisine from the heart offered by a chef with a big one we are honored to welcome in our agency.
